My name is Kathleen Keomahavong and I am currently 16 years old. I started golfing and playing tournaments when I was 10 years old. I’ve grown to learn and love this unique game. Golf has taught me how to be focused, patient, determined, and confident. My current goals for the future are to continue to improve my game and play Division I golf in college, as well as keeping my grades up. Some of my other hobbies that I do occasionally are playing the violin, reading, and singing. I think golf is unique from other sports because there needs to be a balance between mental and physical. I feel like when you’ve learned the mental part of the game it is eventually incorporated in your everyday life, which I find fascinating.
